Have they abandoned the Vivaro 2 which just turned 3 year old in November gone for a rebadged Peugeot?

Why, it's almost as if they've been bought by another company and are seeking to move their products onto that company's platforms to reduce cost and complexity.

I'd guess making Renault buy PSA/GM’s share for the IP was quite inticing too.

The Zafira name is back too, on the passenger Opel, which becomes the Zafira Life.

The Vauxhall equivalent seems to be just a Vivaro Life. Anything else would confuse the hell out of the sort of people who lease these things.

"Life"

Even the Mitsubishi Carisma scored less for irony than that.

In what sense? Is it the sense of not really being a shame either way?

There are probably more Estafette parts than GM IP in the outgoing Vivaro.

It's an interesting move into a different area of vans, they aren't competing with the Transit anymore. This one is smaller, I don't believe it's 8x4 compatible either.

It’s based on PSAs EMP2 platform, a fine all rounder but it lacks the heavy duty ability of some rivals like the Transit and Transporter offer.
It will sell of course but enough to keep Luton going?

They'll be rebadging the Boxer before long as a Movano replacement to rival the Transit.

Is that still a FIAT, or are they also moving to a PSA plank soon?

I get confused by all these van plank moves. Transits becoming VolksMANs and stuff...

This slipped under my radar:

Groupe PSA to produce large vans by end of 2021 in Gleiwitz (Poland)

It's not clear if they're going to go it alone, or if it's extra capacity for the Sevel Sud designs shared with FCA.

Good news for the town on the calm Kłodnica, not so good for Rüsselsheim, Eisenach, or Ellesmere Port.

Will it not be due to Vauxhall Opel no longer rebadging Renault Masters AND breaking away from FCA?

That situation is, er, fluid...

I'd put a modest wager on FULL FROG LEYLAND before the year's out.
