MG is enjoying sales success in China, its domestic market under the ownership of SAIC. Last year, it sold 134,786 cars, a significant increase over the 80,389 sold in 2016.

That success is accelerating in 2018; to the end of August, MG had already surpassed its sales in 2017, having sold 179,109 new cars.

Could it be anything to do with the recording tape and later blank CD maker Taiyo Yuden, who used the "That's" brand? I'm told Taiyo in Japies script resembles the word "That's" in the Roman alphabet.

https://www.carbuyer.co.uk/news/167593/new-mg-zs-ev-will-arrive-in-september-with-170-mile-range

Quote:
The new electric SUV will be the first of several new MG models arriving in the next two years, as the brand expands its model line-up. When it arrives, the ZS EV will be aiming to tempt buyers away from more expensive rivals, such as the Hyundai Kona Electric and the Kia e-Niro, with an estimated starting price of around £24,000 after the Government grant is applied.

I've been on an electric Chinese bus and it didn't breakdown or catch fire for no reason.

Don't let BLIND RACISM cloud you into underestimating the technological prowess of China .

I’ll happily keep supplying the public with WHAT IT WANTS, whilst you wax-lyrical about the ‘future’ when all it’s really about is what works best for YOUR CAR TAX RULES.

This kind of cloaked reality rivals benny’s constant excuses about relatives hospital appointments.

Just admit the reality is bob having limited to no choice in the matter and you looking after your pockets. Then we can all move on
