They'd be CUTTING HANDS OFF if the C-HR line carried on like this.

On the contrary, TMMT end up bussing in people due to the daft Turkish employment laws. I've been there, apart from being an shithole you get as much Camel piss tea as you can drink and free lunch (usually meatballs or roadkill)

Will you want to have a look at my Prius, Bob? Just to see how they're properly put together, like?

TENKO BOB has pulled the delivery date for my Pristro in again. Getting it almost a month earlier than expected.

You know, you could learn a thing or two from those industrious little fuckers, Bob.

In other news, all MY18/19 Bobs in the UK and Europe to get CarPlay enabled by the end of the year, a reliable* source tells me. Not for viewers in earlier cars.

JUST REJOICE AT THAT NEWS.

All they need now is to do a Corolla Saloon with the 2.0 Hybrid and a NOT BLACK interior.

If they'd offered the saloon here with the beige cow other countries get, I'd have been all over it like stink on a monkey.

It's all down to the bean counters at TGB.

I bet they're holding back full cow here for the inevitable mid-life facelift. You can't get it on the hatch/tourer either. And FOR THE LOVE OF GOD let's have a choice of COLOURS at some point, Bob.

Sadly it does seem to have picked up the flaccid baton that the Auris was carrying.

A car designer of my acquaintance RAGES about this. He says in most car companies the design department wants as many colours and interesting interior trimming options as possible, and the manufacturing people do their best to eliminate these on grounds of low uptake (for sensible reasons, as I'm sure Bob will attest). He cited a model he worked on which had a really JAZZY interior option for a brief period before manufacturing successfully lobbied for its delation on the basis that only two percent of customers ordered it. "Yes," railed the designer. "But it's the RIGHT two percent".

It's genuinely a good car, I know I'm biased. Yes you are all correct in what you say. It's about price points and holding a bit back. Most factory for options can be done within process takt. Panoramic roof is a ball ache admittedly but the rest is ok as long as the Heijunka is balanced and the rules followed. The rest is down to the individual market, notable omissions for UK is full cow, heated steering wheel, head up display, electric tailgate. Some of these will come in time, oh and don't mention Car Play!

I just judge it as a car, against every other car. Not as a tick box of how my workforce has bolted it together. I think if you were to remove the emotive element bob, you’d be far from impressed against its contemporaries.

I was referring to the Auris. So yes.

I won’t have one of the new ones until those who buy one now die due to old age or the BIK rental ones get returned, I expect, as I certainlyvwont be actively looking to stock THAT SHITE.

With that attitude you're going to miss your ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY PERCENT sales target.

Targets are for those who need to try harder. Results are what counts.

Not that I expect you to understand, no sales figures for plagiarism and rehashing others words ALL THE LIVE LONG DAY, is there?

Aye and messers Clarkson, May and Hammond to thank for that fucker too.

Those books must sell in some numbers once they’re in the £2.50 or 5 for a tenner bin, to afford that so fair play.

Drive it much, do you?
