Oh dear.

Still on the plus side it's stories like this that save me from myself when I start thinking beyond Swarding L322s and other such tat.

Giles, always think the following regarding cars which are perhaps too cheap to be believe.

- Why is the owner selling such a ‘great’ car?
- If it’s as good as it seems why is it so cheap?
- Has it been stolen or Bennied?
- Will it immolate me at the first opportunity?
- Can I see said vehicle without resorting to public transport?

Giles, this is all very distressing.

Have you considered accidentally* shooting yourself on the foot and getting a new XC90 buckshee on Motability? It seems to work fine for my "customers".

There have been some lessons learned from all this unpleasantness.

- If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't.
- I REALLY want a large capacity petrol straight six in my life.
- Don't read and answer texts from Sward while trying to have a nice afternoon shopping with my family.

Didn't the last time you attempted to buy a Volvo from a dodgy Southener teach you anything?

You'd have more time to spend with said family if you bought a Shogun.

Everyone would be better off if they realised this SAD FASHION VICTIM obsession with SUVs is OVER and it's now time to wake up to WHAT A NICE CAR IS ACTUALLY LIKE.

He doesn’t need brakes Bob, or windscreen wipers or lights. That should assist you in your task.
