Interesting sale this as a V8 Bristol made significantly more than a rather splendid Rolls Royce Camargue

The Camargue is the only Rolls Royce I find acceptable.

Camargue FTW

Just look at the state of it, on a C-plate FFS. That’s a car that squarly channels the firm.

Yer baws it is!

The first 178 Camargues' coachwork was by Milliner Park Ward, the rest were built at Pym's Lane.

OH SWARD!

(And also OH FUNF! for the erroneous apostrophe in Bentley's address.)

I have a picture of them in stowage with Spirit bodies and assumed it was Cowley awaiting dispatch.

The Camargue is GR9. It's the only rival gentlemen's carriage that holds a candle to the products of Bristol.

Either form is used. The thoroughfare is named after William Pym, an 18th century landowner and benefactor to the town.

And Otter never noticed the 'Milliner' in place of 'Mulliner'. FUcking auto-correct.

The Carmargue reminds me of Miranda Hart, utterly shit-faced on Eight Ace.

I rather like it though.

130 Coupe is more elegant and far less gauche, thanks all the same. I swarded an aubergine one once and it was a lovely wafty thing to drive - and it made a nice noise.

The Bisto is rather a nice thing, though.
