Literally, the first thing he said was these were great in 16v form but why did i buy such a shite one.

Any way, I've taken it from a 10 year slumber in a barn to legally and safely back on the road.

REJOICE, its a Renault 19 RSi saloon with 49k miles. This however is a bit like an Irish spec MG ZR and was only available here with the 1.4 Energy engine, not the fast one.

The 19 16V was an entertaining car to drive, but aside for the rarity and novelty value I canít see many of these 1400cc models being saved.

Keep up the good work Barry.

A huge amount of these were sold here ST but they were all victims of scrapage schemes. Very rare to see one on the road. It's never going to hold much value but it would be a pity to scrap it.

If MacDroitwich did a ĎFestival Of The Unexceptionalí that would take first place.
Itís the sort of car that made Autoshite interesting years back before the idiots moved in. Other cars that would make the grade would be the Megane Classic saloon, a base spec early 414 or black plastic bumper 600 etc.

Meg saloons were very popular here to the point that every Megane since the mk1 has always had a booted version for sale. I reckon the current saloon still outsells the hatch here. Its like a smaller Talisman.

I'm told CM's been permanently banned in New Zealand because of what happened.

Still a steady supply of 3-month-old issues of Autocarp though, which is nice.

These things are fucking everywhere in Morocco. Hatches, saloons, left hookers, right hookers.

If you had your Renner 19 nicked in the late 90's it's almost certainly now painted orange and working as a taxi in Agadir.
